Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil

You know when you find a product you love and you think you're going to prance off into the sunset with, like your life is now complete?  Then before you know it, BOOM! you've met it's upgrade so you're starting divorce proceedings?  That's been me this past week.  (A totally dramatic start to this post but I felt it needed it.)

I thought I was happy with my Gosh Brow Pen in Dark Brown 1.  I liked the application as long as I was careful.  I liked the colour and my favourite part was when it started to dry out a bit as it made the shade even more perfect for me.  At first I hadn't been keen as it came off a little red toned but it dried dark so it's been my brow of choice for a long time.

This was all until I decided to purchase Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil on a whim to see if there was any difference.  It's available in two shades, 'Love Is Blonde' and 'Brownie Points.'  I went for Brownie Points and as I had heard so many good things about it, I was super excited to test it out for myself.

Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil is a duel ended product that has a fine felt tip style nib on one end that has the 'tint' in it (as shown above.)

On the other end is precision pencil that has been designed to fill in your brows (as shown above) that can be twisted up.  I love that there is no needs for sharpening this product which can be such a pain.

From the first application I noticed a few differences to my usual Gosh Pen.  Firstly the tone is far better as it's more of a cooler, ash shade.  This is so much better and more natural looking than the warmer, red toned shade that I was used.  In fact I didn't realise how much this slight difference could actually make!

The next big difference was the way the tint distributes as it's far more subtle allowing a lot more control.  With the Gosh pen it's very easily to make a mistake as it's far more pigmented so one false move and there's no forgiveness with it!

The bottom line is... my Gosh Brow Pen is now redundant.  Okay that's probably a little dramatic, I will use it but I know that after a good few years besotted with it, I have now found a brilliant upgrade to it.  I highly recommend this tint and pencil, it's absolutely perfect and gives me amazing naturally shaped brows.

  1. I've heard nothing but good things about Archery, I'm definitely going to be picking it up once I've finished my MUA Brow Kit :)
