Favourites May 2014

I get really excited for my monthly favourites videos and blog posts.  It's a chance to feature things and tell you what I have been particularly enjoying and I like to see what everyone else loves as well.

As usual I have a video on it here.  Just in case you fancy reading my thoughts instead, I've put this post together with the links etc for you.

A long time love for me has to be my Moroccanoil Treatment.  I apply it to my damp hair, just before I blow dry it.  I love how soft and smooth it makes it feel and the scent is great.  I like that it's working to condition and treat my hair as I'm going about my day.

Next up is L'Oreal Intense Repair which I bought on a special offer from Look Fantastic last month.  The fragrance is truly like a professional hair salon which in fact, it turns out that this product is available in the beauty supply store so may very well be a product used on clients.  I use this every time I wash my hair but only on the ends and I truly believe it hydrates it.

I wanted to mention my Pearl Drops Everyday White Toothbrush which I reviewed yesterday.  I am delighted with the results it's given me by just switching from the normal toothpaste to this.  I was even happier that, at less than £2 it's actually not a expensive as I thought and I will definitely buy it again.

I bought the Bourjois Paris Maxi Delight Bronzer on recommendation from Gems Maquillage on You Tube.  It's huge and the shade is perfect for a natural tan.  I love how big the pan is as I can use my large powder brush with ease and it's probably going to last me until the end of time!

I have both  Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Pencil and Maybelline Brow Drama for my current eyebrows which I have been really happy with.  They're both the perfect shade and help fill in as well as keep them in place.  I can't tell you how many compliments I've had!

Another combination I've been loving (and people have been asking me about) is Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe and Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Space Cowboy.  Unfortunately Space Cowboy is beautiful in terms of shimmer but it actually hasn't got much pigmentation so the colour tattoo gives it a great backdrop to display it's beauty!  Permanent Taupe would be great for work too.

Lastly is MAC Mineralised Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle which I bought a while ago after it being hyped on You Tube but I didn't fall in love immediately.  Now, I just absolutely love it though!  It's a beautiful bronze highlighter that leaves my skin glowing!  It's lasted such a long time as well despite me using both this and the Bourjois Bronzer on a daily basis.

I hope you've enjoyed reading !!

  1. I really want to try Archery, I've read so many good reviews recently! The Pearl Drops toothpaste sounds intriguing, too :)
