Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray

I feel like I go on and on about my hair.  If you ever meet me I consider myself to be the girl that never has perfect hair although lots of people say that I have.

As I'm now a qualified hairdresser I just want to get it to what I think is a presentable state.  For the past six months I have started to flirt with volume and making my hair as big as possible.

I can't think where I saw Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray mentioned but whoever it was was raving about it so I decided to make it mine.  It's a volume spray foam with a medium control that's meant to boost your hair with flexible fullness.  This all sounds fantastic but my main concern was whether it lived up to this claim and if it made my hair feel sticky or gritty, I just can't stand the feeling of products in my hair.

The bottle says to shake well, apply to damp hair and style.  It says for more volume to apply to roots.  As the roots is where I want the lift only, I generally part my hair from ear to area around four times and spray a line of the foam down each part.

I'd say the scent is very unisex, a bit like an ocean fresh sort of fragrance.  The application is easy and after I blow dry my hair I do put the top section in rollers whilst it cools but straight away I can feel from the back and side sections that it's thickens my hair and given more volume.

I absolutely love the overall effect it gives and my hair doesn't feel gritty or sticky at all.  If I spend my time blow drying my hair it sometimes feels like I have added a couple of extensions in as well (for thickness) which is fantastic!  This product is definitely one to try out!
