It's no secret that I'm complete make up junkie and I need more of it like I need a hole in the head. That aside I absolutely can't resist popping over to the States and picking up brands that I can't get at home to try out. Last time I was over there I purchased all kinds including Milani Baked Blush in 'Bella Rosa.'

The colour in the packaging is super bright but I have the thoughts were as that just means the blush will go a lot further. I generally prefer the brighter shades as you just tap it onto your cheeks in a really small amount and blend.

The packaging is a little cheap looking but it never really bothers me as it's the product inside that counts ultimately and considering this is a drugstore blush I would rather it was like this than a price increase.
Now for my issue with this bad boy, the pigmentation. It's fantastic but, it's just far too much. I tap my brush into it, barely allowing the bristles to touch and it's just so difficult to use to get that flush that I want. I think that this blush would be perfect for darker skintones only but it's less than forgiving on lighter ones!
That's a beautiful colour, shame it's too pigmented and you can't control how much you get on the cheek.
ReplyDeleteIt would alternatively make a fantastic eye shadow if you are brave enough to wear bright pink shadow. :)
