Products I Regret Buying

When it comes to buying make up and beauty products, I would say I was pretty good as double checking swatches, reviews and the testers in store where possible.  That aside, every now and again products haven't lived up to what I thought they were going to be.  The truth is, everyone's different and what works for one person is not going to work for everyone.

Today I'm going to go over a couple of products that I would suggest for you to avoid.  Of course the reality is that you may love them but I didn't.

First up is Rimmel Mega Plush Mascara which admittedly I bought reduced in Tesco.  Now when I wear my false lashes I don't really require much in terms of mascara, just as long as it costs my lashes to make them look black, I'm happy.  It's lucky my requirements were pretty basic as apart from making my lashes black I don't really feel that it adds muh length or volume and what makes it worse is the flexible brush somehow makes it hard to control.

Clinique High Impact Extreme Mascara is the next one on my hitlist.  Originally I adored this mascara, it made my fairly pathetic lashes look volumised and long but the thing that means that I would never buy it again is within around six weeks it literally went off.  The smell that was coming from the tube was like a moss or mould whiff, it was disgusting.  It's a shame really but it's too expensive to risk having another tube go off so quickly.
