Slim Down Sunday 2017: Week 7 & 8

How am I honestly doing?  I'm fed up.  It's only with myself, when I lost my five stone it was because I was chosing to slim Down more than I was choosing food. Clearly at the moment my head says that food is want I was more although the reality I am feeling very uncomfortable and back feeling under confident about how I look.

 
Although the first week I was busy doing other things, this week having known I would be doing a fortnightly weigh in.  I suppose I knew that that I had two choices, make an excuse and not do it or own up to the fact I knew I had put on weight.  Every day this week I've had the argument with myself on whether I'm going to carry on cramming my face full of food or if I'm doing something about it.


I weighed this morning and naturally I assume the absolute worst.  It's not good, I'm back to my starting weight at the start of January but, I weighed.  I've achieved something - I didn't ignore it.  I shall make no promises for this next fortnight, my birthday is the 3rd March so we shall see.


  • Every day we have a choice, it's a fresh start and the most important part from any healthy eating plan is to just try and make as many days, good ones.
  • Losing a pound a week is still over three and a half stone in a year.
  • If you're feeling particularly down about your weight, remember that if you stick to a balanced diet then by this time next week you could have dropped quite a few pounds, just the kick start you need to get going!  Even just by cutting down on treats you could make a difference, how good would that feel?!
