Jo Malone Cologne - English Pear & Freesia

My lovely friend Rochelle bought me the Jo Malone Cologne in English Pear & Freesia for my birthday in March.  I'd tested this particular scent at the airport around two years previous but didn't buy it as I was planning to come back to their store before my flight but we didn't have time.  This was my first Jo Malone fragrance the packaging alot screams luxury.  Wrapped in a black bow is a sleek pale yellow and black box with the Jo Malone logo.  Inside is the black carded insert for the stunning glass bottle to lie in.

Jo Malone describe this scent as:

"The essence of autumn. The sensuous freshness of just-ripe pears is wrapped in a bouquet of white freesias, and mellowed by amber, patchouli and woods. A luscious and golden scent."

This fragrance is simple stunning.  It is elegant, sophisticated and fresh.  Although Jo Malone describe is as 'the essence of autumn' there is a part of me that thinks it's definitely suitable all year around but if I had to stipulate a month I would personally say more of a spring / summer scent.

The bottom line is... I love it.  I think it's a fabulous gift for someone else or a treat for yourself.  I personally couldn't have felt more special receiving it and I'm definitely never going to be without this scent in the future.
