A few years ago I was stood in the queue at Sephora in Times Square with a pretty big basket of amazing new products to try. Whilst I was waiting I noticed the little bowls of treats around me trying to tempt me into a last minute purchase and ended up throwing in a Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in 'Rose' into my basket too. I wasn't expecting it to be as expensive as it was when it rang up onto the till but I was on holiday so it didn't really concern me.
Back in my hotel room I emptied all of my goodies onto the bed and played with it all (am I alone here doing this?!) I noticed that the lip treatment has a subtle lemon scent, went onto my lips really smoothly and seemed to really hydrate them. My love for them began.
Fast forward quite some time later to October last year, I was heading to Toronto and New York when I decided to pick up a replacement. Once again I found myself in a Sephora store and I saw that they had a whole set of all of the colours in the range.
They're slightly smaller than the full sized versions so please bear in mind that if you do buy a set like this, the smaller tubes obviously have a thinner stick of product inside them so you have to be very careful not to break them as they're so soft and buttery.
Left to Right - Rose, Berry, Passion, Coral, Plum, Honey, Original Lip Treatment and Advanced Therapy.
To be honest I can't see any difference between them other than the shades. I wouldn't say they stain your lips but then they don't claim to, I just wanted to put that out there just in case you wondered!
The bottom line is... I love these lip treatments!! My personal favourites are the Rose and the Honey shades but beware that if the Plum shade intimidates you, it's not really like the stick in 'real life,' as you can see on my arm. I keep them all on my dressing table and either apply them so that they can condition my lips before a lipstick or wear on their own.
