September 2013 Favourites

So it's that time of the month again... no not that time... monthly favourites time!  I have a lot to talk about and although I always do a video on my second You Tube channel LiverpoolLashesLoves I figured I'll always make sure there is a blog post each month to match it as I appreciate that some blog readers aren't necessarily You Tube watchers too.

So onto the good stuff...

Make Up Wise...
MAC's Please Me & Viva Glam V lipsticks together has been my 'go to' look.  Please Me is a matte finish dusty pink and although I like it on it's own I adore it with a swipe of Viva Glam V which dulls the pink ever so slightly and takes that matte feeling away on the days I don't want it there.  As I wear eyeshadow everyday it means it's a really neutral colour for my lips.

Benefit Coralista blush has been a new favourite for me for the exact same reason, I like the try and emphasise my eyes and to do that I need to make sure there's not much drawn to anything else.

Mac Sable eyeshadow - I have developed an obsession for it as it just seems perfect for the cooler months and is easily buildable to a really deep smokey eye.

theBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer luminizer is the most amazing highlighter I have come across.  I realise it's a hyped product on You Tube and I'm going to confirm that it is as good as they say it is.  It is highly pigmented so you can't go crazy with it (unless you're going for that look!)  Some people won't like that but as long as you remember that it's perfect and will last for a long time which makes it even more cost effective.

Onto skincare...
Origins Modern Friction is top of the list.  This is a brilliant facial exfoliator but I have a full review coming up for this one.  There's no other major changes, I continue to drain the life out of my Origins Ginzing Moisturiser and bounce between a few cleansers I've been loving recently but I wouldn't go as far as to say they're favourites.

Body products..
I know this is going to seem like a blog post sponsored by Origins and MAC but Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Body Mist has been a high priority into my daily routine.  It's zingy, refreshing and honestly just makes me happy.

Sanctuary's Body Butter and Body Wash has to be mentioned this month as together they have been what I have used most days.  Their signature scent is so luxurious and spa-like leaving you refreshed and calm.

If you want to watch the video for these favourites here it is!
