Today's post is all about the extremely talked about Make Up Forever HD Microfinish Powder. Now I did buy this in the States (I'm actually starting to hate saying this now but I figured it's still important to review these products, for all I know you may be visiting there and need inspiration) In some cases you can order into the UK for a slightly higher price.

This powder is very finely milled and has a slight silicone feel, but not too much. I thought it may have been an alternative to the MAC Prep + Prime Finishing Powder which I adore. To me they're very much the same in terms of making my make up last longer and it does offer a minor blurring effect.
In terms of the white cast that people get with flash photography, I can't speak for this as I dont generally have photos taken like this. I can say however that I do have to carefully study my face before I do out because I sometimes feel like its easy to go overboard with this but this may be more down to the small packaging.

Overall I would say that I prefer the MAC equivalent which is lucky because I get that here without a problem. The main difference for me is that the blurred effect that the Make Up Forever version gives is not quite a good, I think that's the only different I can see so for that reason, if I had the choice I would always go for MAC over this.
