Urbay Decay Eyeshadow in Space Cowboy

Eyeshadow is my kryptonite, I just can't keep away from it.  I love that it can completely transform your face.  The colours can actually bring the Colour out in your eyes and give them more depth.  I also like that I can match my mood, whether I want a light, daytime look or a deep, dark, sultry one.

With that in mind, today's review is of Urban Decays eyeshadow in Space Cowboy.  I actually got this as part of a Sephora Favourites kit although I do have it in a Urban Decay eyeshadow palette from ages ago too.

Honestly if you swatch this bad boy you probably be a little confused.  It's got lots of fine glitter in it but it's not incredibly pigmented.  The shade is somewhere between a light brown, beige and peach. It is beautiful but for me there's something a little odd about it as I think I expect it to come off more pigmented than it does.

The glitter makes the texture a little gritty, not to the point it's scratchy on application but just for the fact that it's not that creamy formula that we all know and love.

As I find the pigment to be so sheer, I do wear this eyeshadow with Maybelline Color Tattoo in On And On Bronze.  I have to say that I can't imagine me ever wearing this shade without someone else underneath as it's just a little too sheer for me.

The bottom line is... this eyeshadow is stunning when used with something else, even if it's a fairly light shadow underneath I just feel like it needs something.  The sparkle is fantastic and it does wear very well on my skin with minimal fall out.  I hope you found this review helpful!
