Lush Sunnyside Bubble Bar

A while ago I went on a big Lush kick and bought a shed load of bath bombs and bubble bars.  I'm a shower girl through and through but clearly I fancied a change.

Amongst one of the bars I bought was Lush Sunnyside Bubble Bar which was £3.75. I don't consider myself a tight person by any means but for the what you get, I definitely wouldn't consider it value for money.

Lush say that this scent is "a blend of sweet wild orange, lemon and tangerine oils to perk you up and enrich your day."

I was excited particularly for the glitter although I couldn't see it an awful lot in the water, just a gentle glimmer of it.  This bubble bar turned the water a yellow tone which wasn't the nicest looking Lush bath I've ever had however it did make my skin soft and smelling gorgeous.

However when I climbed out of the bath, I pulled the plug and left it to drain.  Later that night I returned back to the bathroom and to do a double take at the bath, it had what looked to be a tidal mark of sand/grit/glitter all around it!  It just looked disgusting.  Don't get me wrong though, it rinsed away fairly easily and I do want to make that clear.

The bottom line is, this bubble bar would be a treat only.  At nearly four pounds a go I certainly would buy it on a regular basis.  It did make bubbles in the bath and although it smelt nice I could definitely get a lot more use out of a bottle of bubble bath for the same price, without having to give my bath a bath afterwards!
