As yesterday was officially day one but this all came about after I had my post up, today is a double bill of nail art!! I'll start with the first challenge - red nails.
My first thought was that I wanted to do something that gave the feeling of a Christian Louboutin shoe.

It did take me a few coats of the red to get the coverage over the black but I could have drawn the black over the red if I wanted to!

I thought I'd mention the main products used for each nail art design so they were OPI Red My Fortune Cookie and OPI Lady In Black.

I adore the way it turned out but then decided to use China Glaze Cheers To You to add three little dots descending down the centre of the nail.
Next up is day two which is orange nails. I haven't got that many orange polishes but chose a colour called 'Nectarine' which I thought was close but looks pink on camera...!

I went for this Aztec inspired design mixing it with this gorgeous muddy brown to make it more wearable for me.

The colours I used where Asda Gel Pro in 'Nectarine' and OPI You Don't Know Jacques.

I really love Day 1. They look fantastic. Such a shame you had to remove them but it's for a good cause. I can't wait to see what you do for tomorrow.
