If you're familiar with the beauty blogging world you'll know that when we use a product up, it's basically treated as a badge of honour as it virtually never happens due to the size of your stash.  We don't throw it away like a normal present, instead we preserve it and show it publically to tell you, now it's used up, what we thought of it.  It's the purest form of review as you know by now that we have definitely got to know it.

Most, if not all of these products have individual reviews on them so I'll just be running through my final thoughts before I clear this out (and what a relief that will be!)

First up is the Philosophy Pure Grace perfume.  This basically smells like clean linen and it's a brilliant daytime perfume or for someone who doesn't like to smell too strong.  I certainly don't need any more perfumes but when I do, I will definitely get another bottle.

Next is the Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot powder.  I loved this powder which has did a good job as setting my make up as well as offering a little coverage too.  It seemed to last a ridiculous amount of time too actually.  When Boots have an offer on I would definitely get it again.

Moving onto L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara which I was particularly impressed with.  The brush is shaped so that you can easily get to the corner lashes which I loved.  It gave me a lot of length and volume without being clumpy too and it's actually now one of my favourite mascaras!

Next is the Clinique Take The Day Off cleansing balm.  I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the RMK balm and although it did work I felt that the RMK manages to remove it that little bit easier and more thorough.  I do think the price is good if you're willing to put a little more effort in.

YSL Elle was a nice perfume, given to me by a not-so-nice friend.  It's more of an evening scent which I loved and it's very sophisticated however because of the mental link between this scent and the person who bought it, I can't see me ever repurchasing it!  It's funny how scents can do that, don't you think?

That's all for now!  I'll get working on some more empties soon!

  1. Wow, you did great finishing up a perfume, and a mascara. I really struggle to finish anything, but this year I am making a concerted effort that I am not going to buy anything else, until I have worked through some of my stash. I love that Miss Manga mascara.

Don't forget to follow my blog if you enjoyed it. I'd love to hear what you think too!
