Today I bring to you the lowdown with the latest products from Urban Decay. When my make up obsession started it was actually with Urban Decay. I had bought one of their eyeshadow palettes and instantly fell in love. The quality is always fantastic in everything that I've tried so needless to say that new products totally live up to expectation. I'll get straight into it and tell you what I think of each one!
First up is their Afterglow Eight Hour Powder Blush. This extremely finely milled formula claims to go on smooth and provide eight hours of wearable, buildable colour.
The packaging of this blush is gorgeous, like usual it's has that certain edgy look to it with the fishnet style window in the front so that you can see a peek of the colour inside which is surrounded by a sleek shiny pewter finish.
They actually decided not to put mirrors on the inside of the compact because this product wears for so long that you shouldn't need to retouch it throughout the day!
The shade I have here is called Video which is the perfect colour if you like a blush that can also act as a contour.
It glides on smoothly and is really easy to work with. There are some fantastic colours in this range and I am very keen to try more.
Next up are eight new exciting eyeshadow shades. For anyone that knows me they'll know that I love my eyeshadow and these are particularly very exciting with six gorgeous duotones and to matte colours. The shade Lounge has actually been re-released it's an amazing red shade with the green shift which is fantastic.
The packaging is just the same of course to match the existing range which is the pewter grey and detail.
The shade I have here is called Backfire which is a beautiful burgundy with the purple shift.
As you would expect the formula is just as creamy and glides onto the skin as all of their other eyeshadows.
Moving onto the new 14 shades of lipgloss for their Revolution range. The formula is high coverage, ultra pigmented, long wearing and non-sticky.
The shade I have here is called "69" which is an amazing bright red. The intense colour seems to slightly stay in the lips which I love.
The style of the applicator gives a perfect finish and is exceptionally easy to work with which it brilliant because they are so pigmented, this is exactly what you need.
The last product is something that I actually had actually been speaking to a make up artist about previously which is their Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil. The uses for this product are endless, it correct mistakes, fills in fine lines and prevents feathering. The make up artist I was talking to actually uses this to fill-in any acne scars and it works brilliantly for that. It even corrects if you smudged your mascara!
I hope these enjoyed this update and that you found it useful!
