So I technically started back eating proper food on Tuesday and it feels betters to be in a routine again. I actually really enjoy my low calorie meals, nothing is ever a chore to eat but it's the temptation of snacking that I have the greatest problem with.
At the moment as I'm carrying extra weight I do feel bloated and my tummy definitely jiggles more than it did at the start of the year which is horrible. The pressure I put myself on to keep at this is immense and sometimes I can't handle it. I need a certain amount of pressure so that I'm not 19 stone five again but it's still very difficult for me.
I think the binge eater I was will never actually go away, this week I ate two packs of biscuits, that's just me being honest with you. Although I've definitely done a lot better than previous weeks I still have gone off plan sometimes which of course I later hugely regret.
So the biggest thing this week was addressing my weight and getting into the habit of weighing myself again. Honestly I knew it would be a miracle if I had progressed and I haven't, I'm just as I was at the end of the week but I'm proud of acknowledging and starting again and I will continue logging on the My Fitness Pal app. Hopefully I shall have a good week!
- Every day we have a choice, it's a fresh start and the most important part from any healthy eating plan is to just try and make as many days, good ones.
- Losing a pound a week is still over three and a half stone in a year.
- If you're feeling particularly down about your weight, remember that if you stick to a balanced diet then by this time next week you could have dropped quite a few pounds, just the kick start you need to get going! Even just by cutting down on treats you could make a difference, how good would that feel?!
