The struggle continues on so many levels but it is slowly getting better. This week I can proudly say that the binge eating has been a lot less. I've taken myself out of situation. I'm so ashamed of some of the things I've done recently that I honestly don't think I would even write them here but I've eaten a lot in secret, put it that way.
I've tried my best to have decent meals, satisfying meals with a good tasty breakfast to help start the day right.
The key to controlling your weight is definitely to enjoy what you're eating and be busy, too much time on your hands means you have those spare minutes to raid the cupboards or fridge.
I am determined to not carry on this battle forever, it will always be something that will need to be never too far away from my mind but I just don't want it to be a struggle for the rest of my life.
I go on holiday in just over a week. Previously I have been able to follow a healthy eating plan abroad but I was in a self catering situation. This time it will be eating out in the States so this concerns me but I can only try my best.
I did weigh myself this morning which in proud of as I'm now back into the habit with at least monitoring it. I'm pleased to say that once again I have not lost weight but, more important, I have not gained any. Emotionally I am in the eye of the storm and I have a lot further to go but I will continue to ride the storm.
- Every day we have a choice, it's a fresh start and the most important part from any healthy eating plan is to just try and make as many days, good ones.
- Losing a pound a week is still over three and a half stone in a year.
- If you're feeling particularly down about your weight, remember that if you stick to a balanced diet then by this time next week you could have dropped quite a few pounds, just the kick start you need to get going! Even just by cutting down on treats you could make a difference, how good would that feel?!
