This post is for the previous two weeks. I make no excuses, last weekend I knew I was going to pick up my beloved cats from up north and bring them to my new home in South Wales. As I was up north for Sunday morning I used that as an excuse to eat what I like thinking I could pull it back for this week but of course, I didn't.
This past fortnight has been virtually a 24 hour buffet. Nothing has been off limits so I've eaten Burger King, chicken korma and also been out for a Chinese. I knew I was back feeling heavy and bloated and I knew of course that the scales would reflect that.
It was therefore no surprise that I've put on 4lbs in a fortnight in fact, I feel like I've gotten off lightly (no pun intended!) Of course I hope for a better week this week, I hope that I can once again return to 16 stone 9 so I can then get back down to the numbers I was seeing last year. I promise nothing at the moment other than I will continue to weigh and happily make my weight public so that I can eventually be happy with it at a much lower number.
- Every day we have a choice, it's a fresh start and the most important part from any healthy eating plan is to just try and make as many days, good ones.
- Losing a pound a week is still over three and a half stone in a year.
- If you're feeling particularly down about your weight, remember that if you stick to a balanced diet then by this time next week you could have dropped quite a few pounds, just the kick start you need to get going! Even just by cutting down on treats you could make a difference, how good would that feel?!
